The COPD Assessment Test (CAT) is a questionnaire for people with COPD. It is designed to measure the impact of COPD on a person's life, and how this changes over time. The CAT is simple to administer, and aims to help clinicians, with their patients, better manage COPD.
The CAT is also used as an endpoint in research. Permission to use the CAT in research may be obtained through accessing the Research areas on this website.
If you are using the CAT in clinical practice please visit the Clinical Practice area to access more information on the use of the CAT. The CAT has been translated and validated for use in more than 50 languages other than English. Only approved translations of the CAT may be used.
Research users should visit the Research areas to access further information and accept the Terms of Use. You will then be able to access multiple translations and supporting certifications.
